1. Acceptance of Terms#
By accessing or using CrimeFile (the "Service"), operated by Atiempo.Me SL (CIF: B56542111), registered at Calle Timón 58 — Oficina 17, Centro Comercial Torrequebrada, 29631 Benalmádena (Málaga), Spain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. By starting the CrimeFile Telegram bot (@crimefile_bot) or visiting crimefile.cloud, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
2. Service Description#
CrimeFile is an interactive true-crime fiction experience delivered via Telegram bot (@crimefile_bot) and accompanied by this website (crimefile.cloud). The Service is operated by Atiempo.Me SL.
The Service provides users with narrative detective games based on fictional or historical criminal cases. Users interact with an AI-powered detective character who delivers clues, evidence, voice messages, and story choices through the Telegram messaging interface.
CrimeFile is a storytelling and entertainment product. It is not affiliated with any law enforcement agency, judicial authority, or investigative body. Case content is either fictional or based on historical publicly-documented events, adapted for entertainment purposes.
3. User Account#
Your CrimeFile account is linked to your Telegram user identity. No separate registration or email address is required. We use the Telegram ID, username, and language settings provided by Telegram at the time you interact with the bot.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Telegram account. CrimeFile is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from compromise of your Telegram credentials.
You must not create or use accounts on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.
4. Subscription Terms#
CrimeFile Premium is a recurring subscription priced at €4.99 per week. Prices include applicable VAT. The subscription grants access to all Premium episodes and features as described on the pricing page.
Subscriptions are billed weekly in advance. Your subscription automatically renews each week unless cancelled.
To cancel, use the /premium command in the bot and select "Manage subscription" → "Cancel". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Premium access until that date. No partial-period refunds are issued.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 14 days notice to active subscribers. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Token Packs#
Token packs are one-time purchases that add in-game tokens (🪙) to your account. Tokens are used to skip pauses between evidence delivery, unlock hints, and access additional story branches.
Token purchases are final and non-refundable once processed, except as required by applicable law. Tokens do not expire and are not transferable between accounts.
Tokens have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other payment instruments.
6. Acceptable Use#
You agree not to:
- ·Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Service
- ·Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- ·Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without written permission
- ·Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity
- ·Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
- ·Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
- ·Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law or regulation
7. Content Disclaimer#
CrimeFile presents true-crime themed interactive fiction. Content is based on either: (a) historical cases documented in public records, adapted for narrative purposes with secondary character names changed; or (b) entirely fictional cases inspired by real-world crime patterns.
CrimeFile does NOT involve active criminal investigations, real victims (except historical public figures referenced in their documented public capacity), or content intended to glorify criminal activity.
All case descriptions are clearly labeled as "historical" or "fictional inspired-by" within the Service. The Service is designed for educational and entertainment purposes only.
8. Age Restriction#
CrimeFile is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Case content includes descriptions of crimes, violence, and other mature themes in a documentary/interactive fiction format. This content is not appropriate for minors.
If we become aware that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately terminate their access to the Service.
9. Intellectual Property#
All content, code, graphics, characters, story scripts, and other materials within the CrimeFile Service are the exclusive intellectual property of Atiempo.Me SL or its licensors, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Termination#
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
11. Limitation of Liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atiempo.Me SL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Governing Law#
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Spanish courts of Málaga.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
